Also I'd like to thank everyone for the suggestions on what to do for my speech. Some of you guys had some really great ideas. I decided to go with showing the class a graph of my blog views over time for my visual aid, so it should turn out pretty good. So thanks again. Laterz.

Public Speaking
So I'm doing a speech for my Oral Communications (aka Public Speaking) class this upcoming week. We were given the assignment to write an informative speech based on any topic we want. What is mine on on you may ask? Well, I think I'm going to do it on blogging. The three main topics I'm going to be covering are...
1. What a blog is
2. How to start up a blog
3. The benefits and drawbacks are to having a blog
I figure all that will be easy enough to explain. However, we also need two different types of visual aids for our presentations. I figure the first one is easy enough, I can just show the class my blog. But I'm stumped when it comes to a second visual aid. Anyone have any ideas?
A chart would be an example of a visual aid, however I don't think there are any charts I could show that would be all that relevant to blogging.

A whole slew of new video game info
First of all I'd to thank everyone for their cosplay suggestions on my last blog post. Some of you had some great ideas, and I'll be sure to let you guys know who we picked out when the time comes.
Most accurate cosplay ever.
Now then, let's get my Sonic fan stuff out of the way. There's some good news and some possibly-not-so-good news. The good news is, Metal Sonic is going to be playable in both episodes of Sonic 4 and the release dates for episode 2 have been set in stone for the US as "May 15th for PSN, May 16th for LIVE, later May for PC, June for Android and July for Windows Mobile."

Also in the Sonic department, there's a rumor going around of the possibility of a series reboot in the somewhat-near future. While it would keep some of the franchise's core concepts, the new games could apparently consist of open-world zones akin to the 3D Mario games instead of the more linear ones the series is known for. Another possibility is the implementation of toys or some other kind of physical merchandise relating to the games, similar to the new Spyro game, Skylanders.

In other news, both Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3D have finally been given released dates for North America. KH3D will be in stores on July 3 while KH3D will be released on July 31. This gives me a lot of time to get hyped up about how amazing KH3D looks and how silly Theatrhythm looks.

And to wrap things up, anyone remember that Circle Pad Pro Nintendo announced for the 3DS a while back? It was supposed to come out in the US exclusively at Gamestop last month, and I guess a few people got a hold of it then, but now their site shows a release date of July 2 for the bulky peripheral, which stinks because I was looking forward to using it with the new Kid Icarus game. Anyway, hopefully Nintendo will re-release it a little earlier in some other manner, but it looks unlikely at this point.

And that's about all I have to report. Questions, concerns or anything else to say? Let me know in the comments section. Content Hedgehog, out.

Cosplay Ideas?
So my girlfriend wants to do a couple-cosplay for Comic-con this year, but we're not sure what we should do. I'm about 5'10 with short, blond hair, but I can probably spray my hair whatever color or get a wig. My girlfriend is quite a bit shorter than I am with fairly short/medium length brown hair. It can be a couple from pretty much any anime or video game, preferably within reason. Any ideas?
Recognize anyone? (Screencap from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei)

Content Hedgehog's Favorite April Fools 2012
There were a lot of different websites who celebrated April Fool's Day today, but here are my three favorites. They were all done by Google.
Google Maps 8-bit for NES
I'd play it.
Chrome Multitask Mode
Yo dawg, we heard you like cursors, so we gave your cursor a cursor so you can point while you click.
And my favorite...
The YouTube Collection: The Magic of YouTube in Your Hands
So what were your favorites? Did you guys play any funny pranks today?
