As you can probably tell from my brief summary, the anime is episodic, so there isn't really any plot to speak of. However, the characters are all very likable and some of them even have a fair amount of depth, particularly the robot girl, Nano, whom I mentioned earlier. Anyway, although the show relies on mostly slap-stick comedy and ridiculously over-dramatic responses, most of the jokes are actually pretty funny. I generally laughed pretty hard at least once or twice per episode. Even if you're not into this type of anime, I guarantee there will be at least one scene here and there that will hit your funny bone. I highly recommend this anime, and although I don't do this very often, I have to give Nichijou a perfect score of 10/10.

Anime Review: Nichijou
I've seen a lot of silly anime in my days, but Nichijou really takes the cakey. With a premise similar to hit early 2000's anime Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou is mostly about cute girls doing cute things in humorous ways. However in contrast to Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou also involves Principals pile-driving deer, moe robots with keys on their backs that cause an enormous explosion when they trip, and the complex and near-impossible to master sport of Go-soccer.

ReplyDeleteWith the rope on fire would be funnier xD. Following you!
ReplyDeleteWell, I agree that the series is really funny. The character I like the most here is Mai. I mean, who would think that she could pull pranks, especially with that poker face of hers. And she usually does this to Yukko.
